Bequest Language for Interested Donors

The following are basic samples of language you can use to add a bequest to your will. Note that it is important to obtain the full legal name of a nonprofit when working with your attorney to add a bequest in your will.

"All the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate I give, devise, and bequeath to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Norwalk, Connecticut, a nonprofit corporation existing under the laws of the state of Connecticut, to be used for its general charitable objectives and purposes."

OR

"I give, devise, and bequeath to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Norwalk, Connecticut, a nonprofit corporation existing under the laws of the state of Connecticut, ____% of my residuary estate to be used for its general objectives and purposes."

OR

"I give, devise, and bequeath to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Norwalk, Connecticut, a nonprofit corporation existing under the laws of the state of Connecticut, the sum of $__________, to be used for its general objectives and purposes."

And include the address here and Federal Tax ID # 06-150-4413
